You could get Package Disabler Pro from the play store. This will allow you to disable the Push Service and other bloatware on Samsung. Works well, easy to use and no root is required.

I used it when traveling. Many hotels, motels have remotes that are unable to change the input source. I used the Peel remote App to change the input so I could use my Fire Stick to watch Amazon, Netflix, etc. Don't know what I will do now.
I had a "Smart Manager" app on my S6, but it is nowhere to be found on my S7(T-Mobil). There is, however, a Smart Manager Widget. It is not as full featured as the App was. It only allows clearing of Storage & Ram. In short, look in Widgets
