I just updated my wifes's phone. No problems installing that I can tell. I googled this update 55.13.1.en.US or whatever the numbers were. I couldn't find anything on it. So what are the details of this update?

According to AT&T website, the Galaxy SII is 4G HSPA+ I don't know what 4G HSPA+ means but isn't that 4G??? Mine doesn't say 4G either. My brother had the Skyrocket and his doesn't say 4G either.

I didn't do the update so I have 2.3.4. I do kill the apps running in background but I always have wifi on. Maybe tonight I will turn wifi off and test it out.

Doesn't it have 8gb of internal memory? 1gb of ram it has. I am a SGSII owner and think the Atrix 2 is a great phone. Just not as good as the SGSII. If the SGSII is 9/10 then the Atrix 2 is a 8/10.

2-4 down and 1-2 up. Wifes Atrix 2 averages 3-5 down and 1.5-2 up. Iphone 3g averages 1-2 down 1 up. (I don't know why. Even on wifi it is slower than the two newer droids)

From At&T and phonescoop, the S2 is supposed to have about 384-400 hours max standby. If I drop 10% every 8 hours, wouldn't that be 80 hours standby?

I fully charged my battery on my S2, unplugged it, and then slept for 8 hours. Battery dropped down to 90%. I looked at what was eating up my battery. The first two were Android system and Android operating system (can't remember the order). Is this drop normal for standyby? I guess it is...

Just switched from an Iphone 3g. I can't compare it to the newer iphones BUT it is better than my 3g in every way. It is faster doing everything. Surfing the web is faster in 4g and on wifi. Camera is 20x better. Has HD video.
