This is why I left verizon for Fi a few years ago. I don't know if a carrier switch is possible for you but I highly doubt your struggles are Pixel related.

Got mine yesterday. Really impressed with the quality of this phone for $350. I don't play mobile games, but I haven't noticed any difference in speed between this and the 4XL. I hope this phone is successful for Google and they refining this formula.

I came from a Pixel 3 XL with an iPhone XS in between. Got my Pixel 4 XL this week. It's really refined compared to the Pixel 3, which was a big step up from the Pixel 2. Overall I'm really impressed and think the price is definitely worth it.

Depending on how you weight the desired features, I might recommend Garmin. The Forerunner 245 Music can be had used for less than $250 and excels in most areas. Notifications are present but not full featured like Samsung or WearOS though

Bought my 3a through Fi on Black Monday for $250. Easily the best phone value I've ever seen. I've been getting the itch to upgrade to the 4xl, but just can't justify the price. If 4a XL had wireless charging and 128/256gb storage, I might call it the best phone available

Is it slippery? I had the cloth case on the Pixel 2 XL and was disappointed with how slippery the fabric case was.

Re: Pixel 3 users who switched for iPhone X I currently have a Pixel 3 XL and the Xs Max. I believe that all tech is about compromises and finding the devices that makes the least amount of compromises, or where the compromises are less important to you. This year the Pixel 3 is a let down...
