only way this will get easier is 1 click root. i did it in about 10 minutes with no problems other then SU zip not flashing but that was just a glitch

i have downloaded sdk and updated everything ( even things i didn't need ) and everytime i go into my command and hit FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK i keep getting this message any help here guys? once i unlock bootloader i can handle everything else. i just always for some reason have issues with adb.

when i type in FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK my cmd says it is not recognized.. edit: is this for people already rooted?

i know this is to root but is this the Unrevoked way or no?

and will this automatically take me back to stock? because im getting rid of my evo and giving it to my parents and have to unroot because they need to transfer her number to the evo now since its hers and they can't connect to sprint because im rooted. So once i unroot will it go back to...

thats a weird issue. you try calling sprint and see if they can do anything for you? maybe you should try 0000 just incase the update reset the app somehow. it wont hurt to try

you can use Terminal Emulator ( if its still in the marketplace ) but the way i do it is when im on bootloader i just check my S-on OR S-off.

thats why theres xbox's and playstations :)
