Got the seidio case in royal blue, better IMO than otterbox commuter. Otterbox is rough on the side buttons. Removed hard plastic in corners, why? Bad Idea IMO this message brought to you by my GalaxyS3

very snug fit, easy as pie putting on and taking off. I almost broke commuter getting it off. Seems it puts a ton of stress on side buttons when taking on or off. Almost 9/16ths thick. IMO Otterbox failed as far as buttons go. this message brought to you by my GalaxyS3

Defender is too bulky IMO

sounds like a soft brick, rom may have not installed properly. Did you backup before new Rom? This happened to me on my ns4g when trying to revert to stock. Had to flash individual tar files using ODIN, stock zip Rom files wouldn't work at all. Message brought to you by my stock GalaxyS3
