Ive used san disk for 7 years now, It still works fine. However I have a damaged kingston Thumb drive.

You must explicitly download the correct driver and install it.

It is a service provider problem. Surely not your phones problem.

Thank you. Now it works. Turns out even if you install the driver, you cannot use MTP. We must use the software mode if USB debugging is ON

I am developing a small app. Trying out programming. I want to autoinstall the app in the phone. In gingerbread all i needed to do was plug in the phone with USB tethering ON and it would autoinstall and run. Now in kitkat, the computer wont recognize the phone only when USB tethering is on! Help

I can easily connect my phone to PC with MTP (when USB debugging is turned off) The computer recognizes that my device is plugged in right away. I can access both my internal and external memory. But when I goto developer otions>Turn USB debugging on Then whenever I plug in my phone, a wizard...
