To answer your question... yes. I'd buy one. I NEVER use the slide out keyboard. However, a more important issue for me is: how incredibly clumsy, awkward and ugly will my Droid be with an extended battery and a case that covers is all up? That's gonna be a frickin' brick.

Well, I got it completely figured out. However, it ONLY works with slide out keyboard - basically useless since I rarely ever use the physical keyboard. Well, at least my knowledge base is increasing.

Open Handcent / menu / settings. ... third item down should be "multimedia messaging limit" be sure that isn't set to zero. Re: sending a ringtone you made..... I don't think that would make a difference. I tried sending one I made and it sent fine. What exactly happens when it doesn't work...

@ cheeta - there is a setting in Handcent Re: message limits. Check the preferences. Or, have you reached some sort of carrier message limits?
