I use chrome and have not had any issues. It does have a large memory and cache footprint but I have not had the issues you describe. I wonder, how many apps are you running? It would have to be pretty busy on your device to cause the Home screen to swap lol.

Re: Can I use this USB wall charger? 1000ma is about the most you can force the battery to charge at. Should top off a flat battery in 1.2 hrs or so. I use the Blackberry branded 750ma wall wart I got here and it takes a smidge longer at about 1.5 hrs.

Not really. The Moto G has a better screen but you really won't notice $200 difference. I'd wait for the S4 to be reduced when the 2014 models hit.
