You can add a Moto X Pure Edition to the list! Holy Cow, I have checked everything and can NOT figure this one out. I'm thinking it is an issues in Google servers.

You can add a Moto X Pure Edition to Android phones having this issue. What a pain. It did it a few days ago, stopped and has now started doing it again. I'm thinking it is a problem in Google servers?

My Moto X is doing the same thing. Been happening for about two weeks now. I first thought it get changed in my pocket but I now think it is switching itself.......Weird for sure .

I have the exact same problem with my Moto X. It will not focus with any of the scanners I use. It does not matter what if it is a bar code or a QR code. The phone will NOT focus no matter what I try. Very frustrating to say the least.

Mine is coming on several times a day now. Yes, I have re-trained it and that did not solve the issue. It comes on while I am listening to TV. Having a conversation with friends, even in the car with the radio on. I guess my only option is to turn off the Touchless Control.

I just deleted all the music in my internal HD and external HD on my Droid HD. Worked like a charm. I just change my google play music from time to time up in the cloud. No harm no foul. It's free and does not take up much time at all.

Did that work for you? I too hate the new google maps V. 7.xxx and that is keeping me from updating to a newer phone. If your phone came with the older version you can revert back to it in settings/apps/maps/uninstall updates. If you have a kit kat phone you might be able to try this...
