The point is that you have a good experience using the data you bought. You can always buy more. Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for. There are no more free lunches in wireless data.

It is my understanding from multiple sources that Sprint smartphones from EVO 4G on all have the hardware for Rev B and need at most a software upgrade to use it.

Any statement from Sprint CS on this topic (and most others) is worth essentially nothing. Sprint does have a timeframe for network upgrades and we should know what it is on Oct. 7.

Good review. I don't fault Sprint for not putting a token memory card in the box since the phone comes with 16 gigs onboard.

It entirely depends on where you are. In many densely populated parts of Chicago the typical 4G speeds are significantly lower than you are getting, because the towers are overloaded.

+1. I have friends on T-Mobile whose 4G data is throttled after they hit 2 Gb in a month -- their throttled speeds are equal or better to what I typically get on Sprint.
