Hi Wokaz, I use navigation service only driving the car. When travelling I usually use public transport or just walk around. I tell all my friends about MapsWithMe app. Last year I came to Japan and it was very usefull for me. I couldn't find any other offline maps for Japan that I used in USA...

For a year or more I'm a fan of MapsWithMe. No navigation(( But GPS positioning works well and has not only cities but roads ass well. Actually the whole country map.

Yeah! Found their website MapsWithMe - detailed offline maps of the World for iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android and Amazon Kindle Fire I'm becoming a fun) I know some other nice apps that work offline, but the are good only for Europe, some for the USA.

Yes, I know your problem. 20 dollars per meg is crazy even if you exceed! Google maps is useless. MapsWithMe app is the best for me. Has all countries and all cities inside and works absolutely offline. It doesn't have turn by turn navigation.. But GPS works perfect. Had Lite version before -...
