I know it should be rooted soon but if the network isn't capable then we're screwed. how could Samsung Screw up a "companion" device with the best feature you could have. I'm not giving out a second number to everyone I know.

In the manual it states "If a Bluetooth connection between the two devices is not available, outgoing calls will only be made from the Gear." that blows

So do we know if the option being grayed out to use your phone number as the out going number from your gear is a glitch, or something they stupidly disabled? if disabled, you think root would allow a hack to make it work? I'm not buying one until I know for sure. I'm not going through the crap...
