Android 10-Facebook can't access my photo gallery!?

Yes, clearing the app cache and data was one of the first things I did. I also wiped the cache via the bootloader.

Android 10-Facebook can't access my photo gallery!?

I did that, after resetting the app preferences, Facebook brings up a notification that it needs to have the storage permission enabled, which it already is. Of course, now every time I launch an app for the first time since I reset app permissions, I have to set its permissions again. I'll need...

Android 10-Facebook can't access my photo gallery!?

I just updated to Android 10 on Verizon yesterday, now when I go to add a photo to Facebook, it can't access any photos in my gallery. When I go to save a photo, I get an "Error saving the photo" message. I have checked all the permissions and I have run out of things to try. Anyone else...

So how is everyone liking the camera?

I am a professional photographer/videographer by trade. I was quite happy with the V20 for snapshots and occasional B-roll for videos. I upgraded to the V40 last October and just haven't been happy with it compared to the V20. Yes, it's better in low light using the normal lens, but that's the...

Does the V40 support USB-C to HDMI?

Alright then, that settles it. I'm not as thrilled as I expected to be with the new V40, I came from a V20 and perhaps should have stuck with it for a while longer. The camera(s) on the V40 look quite awful, particularly the telephoto camera. The V20 took vastly better photos.

Does the V40 support USB-C to HDMI?

I bought a USB-C to HDMI adapter* hoping to display videos (Netflix, YouTube, xFinity, TiVo, etc) but when I plug it in to my LG V40, I get the message "Screen sharing does not work over DisplayPort. To share your screen wirelessly, share to Chromecast or Miracast device." I don't want to do it...

LG V40 specs confirmed, are you going to upgrade?

Let's see, my V20 just got Android v8 Oero, it was the 12th update I've gotten in the last two years. I've been satisfied with the camera in the manual mode, and shooting 4K video with 24bit uncompressed stereo audio. 5G is not particularly important at the moment, and I'll bet that the V40 does...

LG V40 specs confirmed, are you going to upgrade?

What are you talking about? Today's update to Android 8.0 Oreo is the 12th update I've gotten on the V20 since I got it in October of 2016.

To those that owned the V20 since launch, how is your phone holding up?

Where dual cameras are concerned, I much prefer LG's normal and wide-angle combination rather than other manufacturer's choice of normal and telephoto lenses.

To those that owned the V20 since launch, how is your phone holding up?

I'm still enjoying my V20, I use it constantly, which brings up a concern I have about buying a newer phone; I've had my V20 for 15 months now and for the last couple of months I noticed that my battery had started to lose capacity. Since the V20 has a user replaceable battery, I popped in a new...

V30 rumored to have curved OLED screen

I'm all for the OLED display, it's the one thing I miss on the V20 from my previous Samsung phones, however, I really hope it's not curved. I had a curved screen on my ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 and I couldn't stand the way it distorted the top and bottom of full-screen videos and photos in the...

    Streaming Audio / Bluetooth Issues

My brother and I both got V20 phones last October, his 2009 Acura TL experienced the Bluetooth skipping issue, he thought it might be his phone so he got it replaced, he had the same problem with the second phone. He took his V20 back and got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and it works flawlessly with...

LG G6 Looks Like it has Already Failed

Other than the higher resolution rear wide-angle camera (13 mp vs 8 mp), I see nothing about the G6 that would cause me to go with it instead of my V20. Of course, the higher resolution wide-angle camera is offset by a lower resolution "normal" angle camera (13 mp vs 16 mp). Hopefully, the G6...
