I ordered a black 128gb from Verizon on the 17th, and my order has shown an expected delivery date of 10/28, with the warning that they are awaiting inventory. Has anyone else had experience with Verizon and delays beyond what their order says?

The update appears to be gone. I updated mine this morning, (the download took hours even though we have cable) but my son has the same phone and his says "up to date" even though he's on 12b. Anyone else having any luck since early this morning?

The posts in this forum say all you need to do is pop in a foreign SIM. The MAXX is already unlocked. It sounds like you have to turn off the phone first and boot with the new SIM in place, though. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-razr-maxx/212942-international-travel-razr-maxx.html
