I tried the recommended steps, and finally went to a Factory Reset to get the upgrade installed. Glad I did.

Re: Anyway to get the OTA patch update to show on the phone soone I tried all of the manual steps, and couldn't get it to update. Finally went the Factory Reset, and am glad I did. Low Memory warning has disappeared, and it appears to be running faster/'cleaner'.

I got the first update yesterday to ver 4.06.605.3. Notified about the second update this morning, but got the message about insufficient memory like everyone else. (I also have the Icon for Insufficient Memory on the notification bar). I have similar memory available. Just tried the steps...

Just recently been put on coumadin for prevention of blood clots. Would like to find an app to keep track of vitamin K in my diet (counter effects the coumadin). There is a very nice one for Ipod, but that author doesn't do android.

I use the Weather Channel. Gives me Sun/Cloud/Storm, weather alert indicator, and temp on small icon, with full details when I tap it.

I wouldn't answer all of those questions in real life to have some program submit to some other entity. In fact, I found them obtrusive enough I didn't finish the survey.

I have this happen sometimes when an update is installed, AND the phone needs to be re-booted to finish the installation. Try turning the power off, and then back on.

My droid logs onto my home, password protected, network without any special application. I think there is something when you put in the password that asks if you want to log in automatically in the future.

The Weather Channel App, and The Weather Bug app, both transmitt weather alerts. Don't know about when the phone is silenced, but I didn't leave my phone silenced with tornadoes in the area. The Weather Channel App got my alerts before the sirens went off in Tennessee when we were babysitting...

How about keeping your lists and calendar on Outlook or Google mail, and then sync with Companion Link?

I would be careful about replacing them. There was a news story recently that a bunch of apps were malware and sending private data back to the developer.
