    Verizon LTE Down... AGAIN!

It is if your 3G cuts in and out like mine does on the Bionic. The T-bolt also had 3G on and off right when LTE went down. I think it's pretty stable right now. It may be the phone is searching for LTE. You may want to switch it to CDMA-only for the time being, if that's an option.

    Verizon LTE Down... AGAIN!

No 4G in the Nashville area. Sorry, guys. I was trying to activate a new SIM, then it went down. ;)

    [ROM][4.19.2011] Das BAMF 1.5

I guess I'm the only one running into this problem: Went from Stock -> ADB root process -> BAMF 1.1 -> BAMF 1.2. Flashed Das_BAMF 1.3 via ROM manager and get stuck in a boot loop. The phone will not go past the initial HTC boot screen, it just loops. I have to pull the battery and flash the...

    Another Battery life thread

Until this gets moved... I leave LTE on 24x7. Just had bad experience editing the hidden phone menus on the Fascinate. However, my battery life with Adrynalyne's latest kernel and latest full ROM has been acceptable. A single charge may last me a full day (7am-10pm) when I'm not gaming. The...

    [Kernel]1.12.605.9 kernel with adb root

The boot.img file should be stored in a folder on your computer. Then from the command line, switch to that folder and flash the kernel. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk

    [Kernel]1.12.605.9 kernel with adb root

I flashed this kernel last night and did not have to root again. Excellent work, Adrynalyne! Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk

    [Kernel]1.12.605.9 kernel with adb root

Sorry for the confusion, Guntherm. It's just most of the instructions provided are assuming that everyone is familiar with CWR, ROM flashing, and such. No offense to the chefs. You guys are going great work, and it's understandable if you don't want to repeat prerequisites that have been...

    [Kernel]1.12.605.9 kernel with adb root

Anytime. :-) So you've added the location of adb.exe to your system path variable (assuming Windows here)?

Clockwork Recovery (AKA "ROM Manager" in the market). It allows you to download zipped ROMs to your SD card and then install them all from one app on the phone. The "Recovery" part is a different type of recovery (flashing) method other than stock (fastboot).

Root Thunderbolt or Get 4G mifi

That would be the safe alternative. And thanks for reminding me of the throttling policy, PJ. Completely forgot about that. :-)

    [ROM]Basic Debloat

Only a few people are having trouble with the Super User app force closing. This doesn't mean you have completely lost root. You just can't run apps that request su access when opened. The fix is to repeat one step of the root process. Took me 5 minutes to fix.

Root Thunderbolt or Get 4G mifi

It will. As for the unlimited data cap, I'm not sure if anyone has actually hit it because their 3G speeds are so poor. Until now, it would take 7 hours at best -- 21 hours for the average speed of 512Kbps -- to download 5 gigabytes of data. With LTE, we can download 5GB in 30 minutes at...

Root Thunderbolt or Get 4G mifi

After 5/15, I would pay for hotspot or root. Beats adding another contract and $50 to your monthly bill. FWIW, I've rooted and installed Wireless Tether. Getting speeds up to 40Mbps (down) at the office!

    [ROM]Basic Debloat

I didn't have any problems w/ SU after installing the basic ROM until this morning when I tried to install and run AdFree Android. These steps fixed the issue. Thanks!

    [ROM]Basic Debloat

Thanks, Adrynalyne, for building this and other ROMs, and especially for leaving the HTC "bloat" in this build. It's great for those of us that love Sense but not VZ apps. I'll buy you a case of beer one day! Keep up the good work!
