No trick I know of. I just worked for me. For what it's worth I have voicemail display in the call log turned off.

Using Google Voice as a text Replacement---Business as Usual?

Thanks for the feedback. Don't worry, hope is long lost for me when it comes to GV and MMS. This. So much this. Google voice is a years-long archive of my text and calling history. Searching it has come in handy many times. Yes the dialer is cool. GV is now a full on VOIP service that can turn...

    Google hangout

Yep I got fed up long ago. Most of my important contacts use my real phone number now. GV is such a great concept. Insanely useful but completely crippled by lack of MMS. The worst thing is knowing that somebody may have sent you a message and you will never know. I hate every time I talk to...

Hangouts update? Has anyone gotten it?

I agree, while the auto select default is good, we still should be able to change it on-the-fly. I guess the super-geniuses at google disagree.

And how did they receive it? I sent a message to an att number from my google voice number. They received an SMS with a link to view the photo.

Using Google Voice as a text Replacement---Business as Usual?

You received an MMS from a VZW phone number to your google voice number? Are you sure? This would be big news if true. I just tried sending a pic from my att # to my google voice number and the message was swallowed by the void as usual.

Using Google Voice as a text Replacement---Business as Usual?

The way your question is worded, I am not quite sure exactly what you are asking but I'll try to answer as best I can. Just as before, Google Voice only supports MMS to/from sprint and t-mobile numbers. Before, if a sprint or tmo customer sent you an MMS, you would get the picture as an...

The "last number used" option is good but would still be nice to get to change it on a per message basis when I need to.

Did you get the update to 2.3? You said earlier you didn't download an update. Look for the update.

I just tested it and was able to receive and listen to my voice mail in hangouts just fine (was also received in the google voice app strangely). The transcription was pretty awful as usual. Hope they integrate google voice to speech tech soon.

What carrier was the recipient on? We can only receive MMS from Sprint or Tmo so probably can only send to them too.

Google Nexus 5 - App to change DPI/Layout?

:) it was 480. Fyi xposed framework is now kit kat compatible so you can use the app settings module to change dpi on a per app basis.

Just...WOW...massive speed increase using ART cache

I was the same and agree. Hopefully xposed framework will soon be kitkat compatible and ART compatible. This will allow you to do many of the things ROMs do.

Nexus 5 Battery drops to 99%

Estimating the energy left in a battery is an extremely imprecise science. Generally above 90% it is very difficult to tell what the actual charge is. That is why some phones stop charging anywhere between 90 and 100. Thats also why some phones seem to die from 100-90 very quickly.

Just...WOW...massive speed increase using ART cache

Exactly. A bit early for custom ROMs. Though like many others, this might be the first time I stick to the stock ROM and make a few mods just through being rooted. Even then many of those mods may not be ART compatible at least at first. Exciting times for android.
