Can you safely use a Moto Z (2016) charger on a Moto Z3 Play? I see they switched to a C to A + wall wart as opposed to the single unit of the 2016 model.

FYI, tap on the subject. You should get a brightness slider on the right and you can boost the brightness. Alternatively, Google Photos has a feature called "Fix Lighting" which shows up as a button on dark photos.

I believe (if you follow /r/Moto_z on reddit) that retus is usually last with these pushes. Retapac tends to be first, followed by retuk.

Z3 Play day to day, seems faster than my 2016 Moto Z. Could be one part new SOC (I think it gets either faster single core or multicore compared to the 820, but not both) or the 8.1 update. Also, consider a new battery. I know Moto doesn't intentionally slow down phone with old batteries, but...

It might be faster to just mod the included battery to have wireless charging. I don't know how that'd work (there's no independant charging in the mod itself) but you might be able to get a broken/worn out battery mod to test.

Old thread, but recently upgraded my Z (2016) to a Z3 Play. So far, I've been loving the Hasselblad. I couldn't use it on the Z due to the battery, but on the Z3P it's been great taking shots of the kids (my trick is to use the screen for framing and watch the action with the shutter half...

You can write to the package cache folder for the file explorer app of your choosing on 4.4. In the case of FX Explorer it's /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/nextapp.fx/. Just move your files there using a PC and you can organize them on your phone. You won't be able to edit the files there with...

Also to address where apps can write to each other's files. They might eventually bring this to the internal memory as well, but atm it would break too many apps. Maybe by 2016 we'd see the internal protected the same way. What we need is a shared dir that any app can write to.

You can copy pictures/music/video over the network to the SDCARD now (in the cache dir). True if you want to edit those files with another app it would need to be on the internal, but at least I can copy movies over to my phone without having to boot up the pc. And backup the DCIM folder to make...

Yup, that what gave me the idea to look in the Android folder on my sdcard. Looks like one got put there with all the apps with the EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission. I haven't tried any other file explorers, only FX but it should work with any app. I tried with PocketCast, doesn't work with them...
