In my Chevy Malibu if you press and release quickly you get Chevy's system. If you hold down the button for a second or 2 you get Android auto.

Same issue here. Everything has been fine until a couple of weeks ago. This worked for me: "Guys please try *#0808# and select MTP + ADB from the list and reboot to save"
