I gotta agree, I love trying new ROMs. I think I've tried just about every one available in ROM manager.

Not Interested I've already got the original Dinc and with it rooted and overclocked (plus the extended battery) I just don't see a point to this phone, I don't plan to leave the country any time soon either. I'm one of those waiting for a ridiculously big screen, a dual core processor and 4G...

I would recommend getting ROM Manager from the market if you dont have it already. In there you can actually download CM7 RC4 and google apps at the same time and it will take you through the whole process right from the app.

Now I have to share something too. RC4!

I dont know if you already know this but you might need to go into Settings>CyanogenMod settings>Interface>Notification power widget and check the box next to it.

My Dinc has never ran as good as it does right now with cm7(not that it ever ran bad). came from a rooted og droid and I rooted it the day I got it. Love this phone and when the bionic or whatever dual core phone comes out then it will be time to upgrade.

I'm running CM7 RC3 on my Dinc and it shows baseband version 1.00.03.04.06. Shouldn't I be running something newer like 2.15.00.11.19? Everything but my GPS seems to be working fine. Not sure if these are connected. I also don't know how to upgrade it if anyone could give me instructions or a...

This is what mine shows. I see my baseband version is completely different, would this be my problem? If so I dont know how to fix it but I'll do some digging for instructions. (sorry, I am pretty new to this)

Yea it's on. It still wouldn't surprise me if it was something that simple that I've missed though.

Sounds like something specific to my phone that isn't right. I have not tried the nightlies but i will when i have time.
