adb is working it detects my wifes optimus v but when i plug my phone in my computer recognizes it as "android device" even though i have installed the drivers for my phone

possible fix? happens to me once or twice a day dont know if this works for everyone but go to ur apps and click on the "Activate" app go thru the steps reboot and i have my internet back! worked for me every time too! my phone was not rooted at the time so dont know if it will affect rooted...
