If you don't have the GPS turned ON all the time, then MotoAssist doesn't turn on. MotoAssist also doesn't auto rotate the phone screen if you have it laid in Landscape mode. Also on the newest version of the Maps, they removed the Speedometer function that used to be in the lower left corner...
