I believe aptX is supported. When connecting a pair of Phiaton PS 210 BTNC bluetooth earphones with aptX to my S4 GPE, I see the following log output from doing a logcat: D/CODEC_IF( 1543): codec_if_open: opening libbt-codec_aptx.so... D/CODEC_IF_MOD( 1543): codec_open: codec_open...
