Solved it. Forgot android had sound settings seperate for ringtone and notification. Notification was set silent from the factory. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2

When someone texts me I can't seem to make the notification sounds work. Even in settings when i try to set the sounds from the choices it doesn't play the sound sample. Ring tones work fine. ??? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
