Also wait in the cashier at Subway wait for the screen to say tap and pay or swipe. That happen to me initially and I had to wait on the cashier. Even doing it as NFC I would get the blue check mark on Spay but it didn't take. So I redid it and waited on the cashier then I did it and it worked...

They should have a handheld scanner so they could just reach over and scan your card. I know at Sams club here they have to hold onto your card until transaction is over I believe, but yet I haven't tried my samsung club on spay. Posted via the Android Central App

It does what u have to do is open the app and select each card and sign it. Then when she asks for it u just open the app make purchase and you name appears below the pulsing also u can even go into the app and select card to show her. Funny thing is why would she ask for your id unless it was...
