    That is my plan too, my wife bought me my Note 10.1 for Christmas at Costco so we still have some time (90 days) to return. I would like not having to carry around a hotspot with me.

    I know that it is "supposed" to be released by end of month, but with that being Thursday, I would have expected some news on a release date. Has anyone heard of when this is going to happen? Thanks in advance. Jim

    Why no automatic time zone setting

    I have had many a GPS systems that do not include the time. And with wifi there is no time/timezone information. So the information may not be there. I am sure the Verizon LTE model will have auto time set based on the cell signal.

    that is the controller chip that interfaces with the touchscreen not the touchscreen itself. Atmel is a chip vendor.
