The google app is not your google account - it's just things like the news feed and such. So I can live without it for a while. What I can't live without is my email notifications. I agree though, it's ridiculous that this is a problem to begin with, and a problem that they have had BEFORE!

No progress on my end either. The only fix so far has just been rebooting the phone, which fixes the issue for a few hours.

Welp, my issues came back. apps stuck at 100%, notifications delayed. Mustang, please stop recommending the power settings. It makes no difference, and we've turned all of it off. If I restart my phone, that fixes the issue for a few hours. I'm about to throw this piece of trash at the wall.

Mustang - after a factory default the issue wasn't resolved. I seem to be doing now that I deleted all the Google play services data.

I know what you're saying, and we've tried it all. that's not the problem, nor would it explain the issues with the play store.

Chuck, I may have found a temporary workaround - can you go to Apps > Google Play Services > Clear Cache, then on the same screen click Manage Storage, and click Clear all Data. If sounds like you already did that, but it fixed my notification and app install issues for now.

Similar issues here, also on Verizon in USA - notifications are sometimes (often) delayed, play store apps get stuck at 100% installing, etc. I just factory reset the phone, but the issues persist. I'm pulling my hair out over this, as email notifications are really important as part of my job...
