    Back button not working

Hi everyone. Hoping someone can help me. I had to replace the battery and managed to do so myself. However, following the battery replacement, the power button no longer worked. The back button, meanwhile, worked just fine (tested this while on the charging cradle). I took my watch in to...

Tap to pay at the pump coming to Speedway

I was recently at a couple local Speedway's in FL and noticed they both upgraded their pumps and even better, installed the hardware to accept contactless payments! Shows "coming soon" but I'll take it. This is the first time I've seen tap to pay at any gas station pump in my area. What a game...

Samsung Pay is not working at Lowes

Hey guys. I was at Lowe's last week and got a "waiting for cashier" message (like Jaycemiskel). She told me it was asking her to manually put in my cc number (she didn't ask to see my cc). I just continued holding the watch (Gear S3) to the reader and it eventually approved. I never had this...

Who has Samsung pay working at Walmart and who doesn't?

I was at Walmart self checkout today. Payment was flawless. No errors. FWIW, I positioned my watch (Gear S3) over the lower half of the card reader. The previous time I had a read error until I moved the watch down a bit, so it seems I found the sweet spot and went for it right off the bat this...

    Gas station trick

Thanks, will give it a try. Although you make an interesting point using Speedpass with SP vs a CC. Since I just have a Gear S3 and not an SP-capable phone, I'd probably need to go the CC route for now when using Speedpass (I hope to get an SP phone later this year).

    Gas station trick

Same here...Scott's lucky! No Sheetz down in FL...or any other NFC capable pump. Kalnel, do you find Speedpass to not work at times? I haven't tried it myself yet, just going by reviews in the Play Store.

    Gas station trick

Hey guys just wanted to let you know I finally got it to work at 7-11 with my Gear S3 (after several failed attempts at different 7-11 stations). I recently read somewhere that it's best to use a business card to trigger the pump (or any other card just as long as it doesn't have a mag stripe)...

charging cradle no longer shows green light when charged

Hey guys. For months the cradle would glow green once the watch (Frontier) is all charged up. But recently, it no longer does so...just stays on red even when the battery has reached 100%. It's still charging up with no problems. It's just the light that remains unchanged. I am still using the...

    Samsung Pay working at

I've heard a lot of mixed results at Home Depot. Just there today 1st time and it was fast and easy. No problems at all (Gear S3).

Walmart doesn't take Samsung Pay according to their Corporate customer service

OK let us know how you make out. I start up SP as soon as it's my turn. This way you can get it going so by the time all items are scanned, you can hit retry without having to wait and inconvenience anyone.

Walmart doesn't take Samsung Pay according to their Corporate customer service

Hi 1812dave FYI I never have any trouble at Lowe's (have tried at self checkout and outside garden). The key is you have to do the "workaround." When you first start up SP, do NOT attempt to pay. You must first allow the timer to run all the way down then simply hit "retry." It will only work on...

    Gas station trick

Thanks. I'll be sure to give Shell a shot and may try debit next time at 7-11. Otherwise Speedway worked great for me once. How do you like the Exxon Speedpass app overall? Looks like mixed reviews on the Play Store. One review did say that it worked well with his Gear S3 (only Samsung Pay...

    Gas station trick

Hey guys I tried the trick today at 7-11 but like previous visits, it asks for a pin (although I'm using credit card) and transaction just cancels itself out. I did attempt to first select "pay here credit" but makes no difference. I then tried the Lowe's "retry" workaround, but unfortunately...

    mixed results at CVS

Yep same with me! Apparently, as long as you avoid getting too close to the NFC reader and just use MST via mag stripe, it works just fine. When I first tried via NFC, the terminal blocked my payment entirely (NFC/MST) and the clerk of course proved me wrong, saying "I've never seen it work...
