Bankokbob54, I totally agree with you. I have been delaying the NG6 update daily since it was available. Ultimately, I think I will be forced to install it. From what I read on the VZM community chat board the NK1 update, which was supposed to fix the NG6 problems, didn't fix any of them...

When,or if, VZW releases Lollipop, all S4 users better hope it doesn't do to their phones what it did to my Nexus 7 tablet. It made the table virtually unusable because it slowed every operation to a crawl.

To reinstall your apps, on your computer go to your account on the Play Store website. It shows all the apps, you've installed, including ones you've deleted, on your phone. You can reinstall them directly to your phone from this site.

Bankokbob54, you're very lucky, and in the minority by far, not to have problems with the NG6 update. I'm delaying it as long as I can.

You can only delay upgrading so long. Eventually, you will be forced to upgrade.

Samsung has no 'app store'. It's called Play Store and the icon should be on your primary desktop.

You can't uninstall the apps that came installed with the phone. You can force stop or turn them off. See Larry_F's instructions above.

Go to the Application Manager and click on each app that is giving you trouble. Clear the cache and data then force stop the app. That should do it. If not, call VZW customer support.

I just checked VZW. They do not offer the S4 with 32GB.

The guy in the store doesn't know what he's talking about. I don't think you can get a VZW S4 with 32 GB of internal memory. I thought the VZW S4 came with 16GB of internal memory and about half which is available for additional apps. If you get an SD card, the size depends on how must...

I don't know about the music, but you can store pics on SD card. You do it in the camera settings.
