Anyone received the October update yet?

Got mine here! It did take more time than usual, in fact at some point I thought the phone froze lol...but the job is done! I hope this will fix the lag/freeze I experience when I double tap on a message on my lock screen. Anyone else experience that?

    Update??

I got it as well. Haven't noticed any differences yet. Hopefully it arranges some of the slight lag I've been experiencing since the 10 update.

Dark mode - is it a big deal to you?

Dark mode is working perfectly for me however it seems like my Google search results aren't in dark mode. Anyone else with the same issue? I didn't have this issue yesterday.

Are we really all getting 10 next Tuesday?

Coming from Blackberry where OS updated would come rather late, I'm excited to say that I'll be first in line for Android 10. Just another reason why I'm loving the switch to the Pixel 3XL. Looking forward to the update!

Pixel 3XL from BlackBerry KeyOne Virtual Keyboard

oh, but I'm glad I was able to install the Blackberry virtual keyboard to the pixel. By far best keyboard around...makes the Pixel experience much better and makes me still feel like I'm still using a Blackberry hahaha

Pixel 3XL from BlackBerry KeyOne Virtual Keyboard

When I was using my KeyOne, I was the same, didn't use my camera much and didn't really care for it as an important feature. However now that I use the Pixel, I tend to want to use my camera more. I'm just super impressed with the camera and the phone in general.

Do you embrace the notch or hide it?

I embrace the notch and oddly enough kind of like it. It gives the phone some character and identifies the phone as a Pixel XL. I was one of the reasons why I loved Blackberry so much... everyone knew what a Blackberry looked like and was.

Lifelong BlackBerry user looking at 3XL

I guess I was a semi-googler lol...despite being a fan of Blackberry 10 (incredible software) Blackberry just never kept up with the times and jumped to android much too late. I will always miss BlackBerry. The KeyOne keyboard is a special one for sure, tough to replace that experience but the...

I also downloaded the Blackberry keyboard and apps, works amazingly and has made me absolutely love the Pixel 3 XL. After spending my life as a Blackberry, I think I have officially converted to a Googler!

Lifelong BlackBerry user looking at 3XL

It's now been a few days with my Pixel 3XL coming from the KeyOne and I absolutely love this phone. Amazing how smooth it runs and how smart it is. I did make a couple of tweaks to it like add the Blackberry Keyboard through Cobalt and some other Blackberry features that I always will love but...

Pixel 3XL from BlackBerry KeyOne Virtual Keyboard

I was reading that there was a specific way through "cobalt" to download the BlackBerry keyboard as apparently it is not compatible directly from Play Store. Is this true? What is this Cobalt exactly?

Lifelong BlackBerry user looking at 3XL

I'll be switching from the KeyOne to the Pixel 3XL tomorrow. First phone away from BlackBerry. My only concern wanting the BlackBerry virtual keyboard, does it work well? I'll probably download most of the other BlackBerry apps as well. All opinions are welcome!
