I got the OTA last week in India. The size was about 450 odd mbs. No major changes, I found. Appearance is exactly the same as on 4.3. I'm kinda confused coz i read on this forum that kitkat update was about 1.3 gigs in UK i think. Wonder whats happening?

I had the same issue. Thsolution for me was: 1. Factory reset 2. Reupdate via kies 3 3. Factory reset 4. Do not update anything GOOGLE (esp Play)or samsung Battry life is great PS: there is a new update available (in India) OTA and kies, but i'm not taking any chances untill its proven bug free

Re: Battery Drain after 4.3 update OK... still no luck with the issue. I unlocked developer options and clicked no background processes instead of Standard limit....now the wakelocks are at 81% instead of 77%. Samsung c'mon!!!
