That's definitely not true. I ordered 2x 32GB aluminum at 10:46 launch day. My coworker ordered his 32GB aluminum last week. His shipped, mine hasn't.

This is how stock android does notifications at first. It blinks slowly for the first few minutes. If you don't get to it quickly, it begins blinking faster.

Yes, that does seem to be the case. I didn't believe it until I saw it happen in person that an identical phone ordered on launch date was not yet shipped, and a phone ordered last week was. As you say, it's not a very big deal. But it is a bit of a head-scratcher.

My card was charged yesterday around noon, phone hasn't been shipped yet. Mine will likely be coming from carol stream also. Sounds like my phones should ship out today, arrive tomorrow. That's pretty good news.

I ordered mine at 10:57am Pacific time. No shipment or processing state yet. I suspect it has to do with my location (Midwest) if my phones don't ship out tonight

Several people at the reddit/nexus6p sub are reporting shipped. I think they have a spreadsheet over there with information on whether users are seeing shipped, what they ordered, when the ordered, etc.

Careful, they break *very* easily. Compared to the strength of gorilla glass 4, tempered glass screen protectors readily shatter. I don't think they offer any shatter protection at all and from what i've seen in reviews of gorilla glass 4, i doubt the tempered glass hardness is helpful either...

I think they just process then in the order they receive them as fulfillment is available. Shipping speed should not have anything to do with it.

That's a good sign for me then. I just looked at my orders and noticed that hardware I previously ordered came out of my Google wallet balance. The phones are coming off my card. If you keep much money in your Google card be aware that it's the default for ordering hardware. I didn't expect...
