    How do I turn off google assistant

    It shouldn't be this hard & it shouldn't be one or the other. Also, I turned it off in settings, but it still won't let me take screenshots.

    Google Assistant comes up when I try to take a screenshot on Galaxy J7

    I just did that. Followed your directions exactly. Then I tried taking a screenshot to test it out & I still got the Google Assistant, only with a new link to turn it on. So, any other suggestions...?
