    I'm on AT&T and when I dial *#*#4636#*#* it will open a hidden menu testing. Click on device information there you can change to LTE only.

    Looks like you got my returned note 3. Seriously my first note 3 is acting like that and have reset couple times with no apps downloaded but still acting like that. I returned it and give me new one plus they let me keep all the accessories including the battery.

    Re: Att note 3 free tether.... Tethering uses 4G LTE and makes your phone get hot easily. Just watch your phone getting hot, it may cause screen crack, and samsung will tell you that you drop your phone and charge you for repair.

    Note 3 got an issue on the display getting crack due to heat. Battery gets hot when charging. I bought an external charger and I have 2 batteries just to be safe.

    Have you checked if sync is off? Pull down control panel with your 2 fingers for a quick check, happened to me.

    Could be bad battery, go to the store you bought it and have them replaced, it's still under warranty.

    This is a bug that samsung has already fixed by update. I think Verizon got this update already, the MJ7 build. Mine is still MJ5. Waiting for AT&T to release the update.
