Well I answered my own question regarding trimming down a 22mm to fit. It’s possible, it works and is useable, but just doesn’t look right due to the dimensions of the case vs the width of the band. For now I’ll settle with the NATO 😁

It's a 20mm width strap I'm looking for, but like the OP, I'm having difficulty finding one in the same style as the standard one which comes with the 46mm/Frontier watch. Do you know which one I mean? The strap on the 46mm steps out to cover over the lugs, whereas on the 42mm version it does...

Hey, sorry to dig up an old thread, but did you or anyone else get an answer to this? Cant seem to find anything else on the internet at all on this specific topic. I've recently gotten a 42mm, but prefer the strap style of the 46mm/frontier. Could a 22mm be trimmed down to 20mm I wonder?
