i was running rooted 1.1 which is definitely the most stable. once i decided to get a little risky, i tried froyo on emmc whic i actually didnt like due to instability issues. i went back to rooted 1.1 for a while, and now im on cm7 nightly 12 OC'd on emmc and couldnt be happier. flash runs...

cm7 actually has the menu and back buttons in the status bar. its pretty snazzy. i still use button savior for full screen apps, but i find myself hitting the status bar buttons whenever they are there, and as a result hold my nook with my right hand near the top as a habit lol

Has anybody gotten wifi hotspot to work? I use it all the time for my nook color, but if I try to turn it on in cm7 I get "error", in settings as well as hotspots apps

I use ADW launcher EX, I already paid for it for my phone and I really can't find any comparison in terms of functionality and customization. I'm running cm7 nightlies now, but I had it on my rooted 1.1 as well.

i personally like thumb keyboard... it has many different layouts, but i use the 7" tablet layout, it makes it incredibly easy to type in either landscape OR portrait, and it has themes/customization. im on rooted stock btw

did you try clearing dalvik and cache in CWM recovery? if you dont have it installed you can put it on an sd card and boot into recovery that way

if you back up youtube in astro, uninstall, then reinstall it, it should work. i had this problem, and my cousin did, and this fixed it on both of our devices
