Hi GSD. Thanks for following up on this. I ended up flashing to the latest firmware that was stock yesterday (mja). I then ran adb and did reboot nvrestore. I believe my recovery was buggy as it stuck at the Samsung Galaxy S3 logo. Flashed mja again. Rebooted. Got signal. Hooray! Called USCC...
