Sometimes when I swipe down on the Notifications I see a slider for dimming the screen. I would rather see a volume control, since I find the hardware buttons awkward. Is there a way to do that?

Re: I have an Ipad mini and a Note 8: No contest It does not twist if that is what you mean. Plastic is light and strong. I do not have an apple mini--I am arriving from a playbook, which is a solid device indeed. But the Note 8 is sleek and strong and I do not spent too much time looking at it...

See above in the thread. It seems there is a security setting you can turn off to allow the install--and then turn it back on.
