Still an issue after latest update. Very annoying to ring so everyone else can here when you have headphones on. it should ring in ear, so you can push the button to answer call and keep going - vs check why your music muted all of a sudden (at least it does that now, but it's still a sloppy...

And... still an issue with S9+. It's a PHONE, that plays MUSIC... PHONE... RING!! (through the output device of choice, which is headphones)... it's very simple

Not a shill by any means; but the front is made of Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5; you're fine. It's probably the strongest part of the phone. Face down, you're good. Now, my Oakley's with iridium coating.... I'm not sure they've ever been even CLOSE to touching a hard surface.

After a recent update, the message icon now show 5 (or 6!) when a new txt comes in. Makes me realize how good I had it in Apple-world. None of this silly stuff.

After the most recent samsung update to Messages (txt); it now shows icon indicator of 5 or 6; even if there's 1 new message. I took 2 1/2 years off from Android - and totally forgot about this silly stuff that they can't get right. I'm frustrated with soooo many basic functions that are broken.

Still can't figure this out. It's a BASIC function of a PHONE that plays music... c'mon... maybe it's Samsung and not Android?

Same boat; 4am, POW!!! the bat signal goes off in the (very dark) room to gleefully tell me my phone is charged... Verizon S9+ Wireless charging so I cant lay it face down. I can't find the notification settings anywhere for this. :(

SoundAbout crashes on launch :(

So my phone is through Verizon; my family's is through T-Mobile. At the T-Mobile store, their S9+ will reduce the volume on the BT music (mine does not) during a txt or call. The Verizon phone does not. Anyone else seen different behavior between carriers?

I get your point, but that's going to be the case in a few situations - whereas having music on, you're definitely not going to hear your phone ring. It's totally backwards.

I researched, found DND, and used custom to allow calls. I haven't spoken with the wife (who was mostly offended by the notifications), and haven't tested if a call comes through the DND.
