    Samsung refunding my watch

Speaking of snow and work out, my watch always congratulate me with an excellent Cycling Workout after clearing my driveway of snow, using either shovel or thrower, LOL:D:D:D.

I can't seem to youse BIxby on the Samsung Watch to control my phone.

I just use the "Double Press Home Button" to start it. It works fine for me to set reminder, alarm or start a timer. Never tried anything more complicated.

After 2 mos with Galaxy watch

If you are on the Notification screens (from the Watch Face screen) and "delete" the notifications, they will just be cleared/dismissed, the messages itself would not be deleted. However, if you are on the opened message screen in the app on the watch and delete the message, the message would be...

After 2 mos with Galaxy watch

No, on the watch: Rotate the bezel counter clockwise or swipe across the screen to the right. Once on the Notification screens, you can swipe up to remove/delete the notifications, or delete all of them once you get to the left-most screen. At least on my watch and phone, the Notifications on...

After 2 mos with Galaxy watch

It's linked to the fact that there are Notifications on the screens to the left. It should go away if you turn to these screen. You can have it disabled somewhere in the Display settings.

Considering Galaxy Watch - A Few Questions

If you get a Bluetooth-only one, it has nothing to do with the SIM on the phone. As long as you have WiFi on the phone, you don't need a SIM or a mobile service on the phone to use the watch with the phone. So, yes, you should be able to do something like that. OTOH, I suspect may have trouble...

Phone battery drain with galaxy watch

Check this post to see if that's the cause. I was able to fix my battery drain problem by resetting (clear Cache, Data and reconfigure the app) Skype on my phone. Now the batteries are no longer draining fast after using Skype. https://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?p=6434266#post6434266

    Samsung Pay on Watch

Thank everyone for helping me understand NFC vs. MST. Yes, I was able to use Samsung Pay on the watch to make payment at work. So the setup and the watch is working as intended. Now the challenge will be to tell which terminal will work without trying on each one:D.

    Samsung Pay on Watch

Oh, I see. Not sure if they have NFC terminals or not. It's at Home Depot, a grocery store and a gas station. Are NFC terminals always labeled? I did not see any labels to that effect at those stores. I only started using mobile pay recently, don't know why it worked with my phone (Note 8) at...

    Samsung Pay on Watch

Has anyone been able to successfully use Samsung Pay on Galaxy Watch? I've tried three places, none of them work on the watch. Samsung Pay on phone works fine in all three places. Yes, I had this setup correctly on the watch and am able to start the paying process on the watch, but none of the...

why will my galaxy watch not work away from my phone.

One other thing is that, if the WiFi is set to "Auto" on the watch, it may not switch on the WiFi immediately when Bluetooth is disconnected. It might eventually turn on the WiFi and connect to the phone through WiFi in the house if it's disconnected long enough. But it does if I start using the...

My honest opinion of the Samsung Galaxy Watch

Do you guys have "Call" types of apps such as Skype, Google Voice, etc., installed on your phone? Try disable them or put them to sleep to see if that improves battery life. The issue is that the watch, when connected using Bluetooth, requires exclusive control of "Call Devices" of the phone...

Galaxy smart watch connecting to mobile network

Yes, all the carriers are trying to "milk" the watch cow:D. Most carriers wants $10 per-month for the watch with a qualifying phone plan. For T-Mobile, pre-paid phone plans are not qualified and the only post-paid plane I can find is $70 per-month unless you have 4 lines which is $40 per-month...

Stars on app icons - how to rid?

There is a preference in the Wearable App on the phone that seems to be used to determine what's go on this screen(s) (you can add more than one app shortcut page) and how they are sorted. There is a "Most Recently Used First" option. I believe "user added are stared and auto added are NOT...
