    I have tried to RUU the phone, which it doesn't seem to be able to do that either. I can't get S-Off to work either. Is there anyway to force a complete reload of everything? Thanks

    It tried to do an OTA and said installation aborted, then rebooted. Also, I can't seem to find a clean kitkat 4.4 rom to download and sideload to see if that will fix the problem. I did try to s-off but it won't let me do that even.

    I unlocked and thought I rooted my 2013 HTC One. However, when I try to update to KitKat (or anything else) I get a message saying installation aborted. I tried to RUU the phone back to factory but it doesn't seem to want to do that either. Any ideas? John
