I managed to get google fit to work, i needed to use 7zip and browse to the asset folder, but cannot get messenger to work. there is not asset folder. i tried a version or two from APKmirror, but no luck. the install responds with requires a newer version. John

So far i was able to extract apps from my phone. i was able to install Google Fit, but it crashes, says video can't be displayed. I need to look around for some APKs that work. i want google messenger and fit at least. thanks for all the help! John

I had a Sprint phone fora week and it did the same thing, s voice didn't always work. Blue indicator didn't show sound. Sometimes a reboot fixed it. Now I have a Verizon version and the same thing happens. I haven't found a likely explanation.
