just a fyi for Mac users, for some reason I wasn't able to install the wireless tether using a mac - have no idea why, even when I renamed it .atk. I used Parallels and downloaded to a PC desktop then transfered it and it worked great. Maybe Mac's have some issue with the .atk extension.

thnx for all your help gbhil... feeling really stupid at this point, just don't see a .apk file inside the folder. The immediate files or program inside the program are: classes.dex and resources.arsc also two folders: res and meta-inf - neither of which have a .apk file in them...

Missing something for the wireless tether. Is there supposed to be an ATK file in the folder to install? How do you install with a file browser? Also, what is the purpose of the market enabler? Is it only beneficial for those outside the US market?

I'm getting the same thing with the multiple copies of people when I try to sync facebook users (those whose names being with a-d have the most copies). I was able to make it sync fb connects faster though by using a wireless connection instead of 3g ghil - thnx for the su hint - missed that

Lost super user privileges? I rooted and installed option three, everything going well. I tried to run "root explorer" only to realize I had lost super user privileges. Is there is a way of getting it back in 2.1 w/o having to reflash the ROM? I think I might have made a mistake by not...
