All the motherboards are the same? Or do they have different connector locations,sizes,etc? Will the home flex cable reach?Antenna work,etc? Does one being GSM and other CDMA matter?

They only updated the Korean version to Lollipop. One of the reasons why I hate LG. They leave out a lot of the features for the non-Korean versions.

Had the same problem trying to root my Note 2. Basically you need a good quality OEM cable. I tried generic microusb and they didn't work. I couldn't find my samsung microusb cable so I used a motorola one and it worked.

Digitizer is damaged or flex cable.The S pen has a different flex cable connection. Those flex cables are ridiculous easy to damage.They should really make those things stronger. You can open it up and check the connections on the motherboard.

If you phone turns on but just keeps looping but you can access recovery/download mode then its soft bricked. If you can't access recovery mode then its hard bricked and there are a few options.. You can either find a service locally or on ebay to jtag your phone. Or get USB jig from ebay or...

Have you tried factory reset? Also you can take it to cell phone store and they should be able to flash it back?You could have just asked the Verizon store to flash it back.

Thanks. Great exploit. Definitely worked. I received the invalid IP but you basically need to restart phone and access point to get them connected to the router.
