Ummm, you didn't delete /cache while booted did you? The reason why it was linked to /cache is because otherwise it would just use space in /data which you don't have the capacity either from the df you posted. -- Starfox

The reason is that your ROM linked /data/dalvik-cache to /cache, which you can see by the identical usage for those 2 lines in df. If clearing /cache in recovery isn't doing it for you, your only option is to start uninstalling unneeded apps and afterwards going into recovery and clearing...

The V is different from the S, so trying to follow procedures for the S may not work. In particular the hardbutton for Home and Menu is swapped, and I don't know how the different recoveries handle that. -- Starfox

Did you try reseating the battery? If you plug in the phone without battery it should at least turn on the screen and complain that the battery is missing. That would at least show that the phone itself is working. -- Starfox

May have spoken too soon about the charger. Today it's not showing the charging icon anymore, and while the battery% did go up while plugged in, it goes up slowly and got stuck at 80% max. -- Starfox

I have a 2-port 1A charger that stopped working after MVH. I just flashed V8 and it now works with the charger & screen issue is mostly fixed. Thank you for addressing LG's idiocy/incompetence. -- Starfox
