    Nexus 4 8GB vs 16GB?

I bought the 16gb for two reasons, first I wanted the storage and second the shipping time was lower than 8gb. I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the way Android seems to want to store everything in the cloud. Some of the time I'm outside of the 4g data network and without a wifi...

Maybe some of those hockey playing robots horked your phone, ehh?

Any way to make Android a bit less cloudy?

I get it, it's Google's operating system, they want to put everything on the cloud but I just got my Nexus 4 for my first real smart phone and I don't like how almost every app wants an account set up. Want to add a contact: do you want to import an account or create a new one? How about...

    Current Nexus 4 Shipping Times

Walmart was a bust. They had sim cards but not for the $30 plan, just a $40 plan with data throttled after 2gb and they wanted $20 for the card. I thought a sim card was a sim card but the salesman said it's attached to the plan. On my first GSM phone, I don't know and don't want to take...

    Nexus 5 (16GB and 32GB) for $399/ $449 with LTE and 5.5" screen

These days specsmanship is important. Quad core processor and 2gb ram were some key things that made me decide to buy a Nexus 4. If 32gb or 64gb versions were available, I would have strongly considered them so that I could load a bunch of music and a few movies for long plane flights and...

    Current Nexus 4 Shipping Times

I'm in the same boat I guess. I think I'll try Walmart tomorrow. I thought it would be as simple as going to the Tmobile store then they told me the $30 plan is Internet only, not in stores. I ordered my sim card pack but have no idea when it will come and I had no idea my phone would get...

    Current Nexus 4 Shipping Times

For the first time in my life UPS arrived at about 3:00 instead of 7:00. Any way I ordered last Sunday, received today Friday from Louieville to Silicon Valley. The phone is charging now, now I wait on my sim card which I ordered on Wednesday.

I can no longer tether my pc (on Tmobile prepaid SIM).

Actually I'm well aware of how contracts and business work. The bottom line is if your lawyers aren't as good as their lawyers, you get screwed. Most consumers do not retain lawyers or write contracts so they get screwed most of the time. Unluckily not enough consumers know how to stand up...

    Current Nexus 4 Shipping Times

I ordered the 17'th, got a shipping confirmation last night, checked the UPS tracking a few minutes ago and it's on the truck for delivery tonight. And that's not even the best news I got today (unrelated). This is the best day I've had in quite a while.

    Nexus 5 (16GB and 32GB) for $399/ $449 with LTE and 5.5" screen

My first phone was an LG flip phone, it wasn't sexy but it was solid. My next was a Samsung that always had battery issues and I've been crutching along with for years. My TV is an LG and it is pretty awesome. Google has enough faith in LG to let them build a Nexus handset. After reading...

I bet the next thing you are going to say is that Oil companies don't price fix and gasoline is reasonably priced. Some people can see when they are getting screwed instead of just spreading the other cheek.

    Nexus 5 (16GB and 32GB) for $399/ $449 with LTE and 5.5" screen

And that's my point about a mature industry. LG should be able to see that an unlocked phone with straight Android without a rediculous mark up (iPhone BOM ~$200) will create more demand than they can supply. Someone said phablet was a Samsung niche, LG could drink their milkshake if they felt...

    Nexus 5 (16GB and 32GB) for $399/ $449 with LTE and 5.5" screen

You missed the "~" which means kind of like but not exactly. LG could make the equivalent of a 5.5" Nexus, call it something else and load an unmodified version of Android OS. The name is just a name.

No, your $30 is more than enough to pay for inferstructure. A better analogy is a landlord that bans their tenants from using the bathroom because you can pee out the window.
