I have been using Chomp SMS for years now. Started off with the free version and then happily paid for the app. I have had a Nexus 5, Galaxy S7, and now the Essential Phone. I don't think I will ever use any other texting app.

I am also using the GNL and had an issue when using the Samsung Themes. When I applied on of them, it changed my icons; but I couldn't them to change back when I changed to a different theme. I tried changing to different themes & then deleted them all; but the icons (phone, calculator...
