I don't think you get what I am asking. I know how to tether and mobile hotspot. My question is if I tether my PC to my phone, my PC now has two network connections. How do I tell my browser to send it's http requests through the connection through my phone, not my office's network?
I had an idea last night. I'm sure I'm not the first so it must've been tried. My workplace logs our Internet activity and blocks many sites. Is it possible to USB-tether my phone to my computer, and direct my Internet requests through it instead? I'm asking only in theory as I am sure questions...
Is the notification new with this update? I didn't receive a notification for the previous two updates the RAZR got and still got the updates pushed to me.
I did get a text from Verizon today though, but it was to say my bill was ready. Talk about a letdown.
Re: Just got a notification saying "Phone SW Upgrade, Please Read
Sounds like the 27th might've been the real rollout date. Soak test started Friday, a few people got it, then nothing for a few days. And now last night it seems a lot of people have started getting it. Great news.
I was going...
Dream on, right.
After hearing at I/O that the GNex will have JB mid-July, wonder how nuts we'll get for JB. Though, part of the reason for us being crazy for not having ICS yet is we were initially promised it in February, and it's now end of June.
Thanks. The APK linked in there worked. I'd even tried the hacked Verizon Mobile Hotspot from droidrazrroot.com. Same thing. Connected but "No Internet Access". Weird that some apps work and others don't.
Does that app do the same as this one? https://market.android.com/details?id=com.dazbradbury.restartConnections&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5kYXpicmFkYnVyeS5yZXN0YXJ0Q29ubmVjdGlvbnMiXQ..
