Connert, My android messages app doesn't even have a "CHAT" option in settings.

We both have galaxy phones, and both use android messages, but we don't have any "RCS" features working. And when you call T-mobile, they say they don't know if that rollout is still on "Hold" or I should have it. All my settings are turned on, I got nothing!

I can't even send a "GIF" that's too large of a file without it looking like trash. And that's on the Samsung messaging app, which sucks. Yet everything I read tells me I have "RCS". As far as I could tell, nothing has changed.

Me and my wife both have galaxy S9 phones, and I still cant send her videos without them looking like absolute garbage, and all chat settings are turned on. I must be missing something.

So, T-mobile is "supposed" to have already rolled out this feature. Android messages says it also supports the RCS features in it's app info, but I don't and never have seen any of the "RCS" features work at all. Still can't send large high quality video or picture files on the android messages...

Well, we were "Supposed" to get RCS in this update, but I'm not seeing any RCS features in the samsung messaging app or the android messaging app. There are several articles I've read online saying T-mobile already supports RCS in the Samsung app. I don't see it, I don't have any of the "Chat"...

Yeah. finally figured out that it does not work with gestures. Gotta just go in the google app.

My samsung pay tab is getting in the way...LOL!

I use Nova launcher, and tried the "Full screen gestures" on navigation bar after pie update. I notice when I long press where the home button would be it no longer opens google assistant. Is there a way around this?

Supposed to be able to send larger files, better video quality. Also I think it should be able to have google duo imbeded in the actual messaging app itself right next to the phone icon. I don't see any difference at all.

Does anyone know if android messages will now have RCS afer this update? As far as I could tell, doesn't seem like it. Do I have to use the samsung messaging app?
