This fix was short lived; "caller name ID" is back and using as much battery as my screen. Can't seem to find answers to where this came from or how to delete it.

apparently this component is a function of google, I deleted hangouts and changed settings based on info from website below...Caller Name ID has been removed from my list of components that use the most battery. Here's how to turn Google's Caller ID on and off in Android 5.0 Lollipop

installed on my LG G3 also, but there is no app to uninstall (?) help! using data and battery....not a verizon customer, using consumer cellular (AT&T network)

the boxes referenced don't exist in my google play....is there another way to stop the notifications and auto updates?
